Park Rules

1. League admission for Players and Spectators is $1.75 per person ages 13 and over.  Children ages 6 through 12 are 50 cents each.  Tournament admission for Players and Spectators is $2.50.
2. Managers:  Please ask your players to park in only one parking space with no backing into parking spots.
3. No food, drinks, cans, cups or other containers may be brought into the park.  Beer purchased must be consumed in spectator areas and cannot be taken outside the Park gates.
4. NO FOUL LANGUAGE permitted anywhere in Park.  Automatic player ejection for the game will result.  Any player striking an umpire will result in ejection from Players Softball Complex forever.
5. No warming up in spectator or bleacher areas.  Warm up areas are behind the outfield fences or between the fields.
6. Rain-out Policy:  A decision on whether or not games will be played will be made as soon as possible.  You may call the Park office at 417-865-3554.  Generally a decision is made 1 hour before playing time.
7. Rain make-ups:  Every effort will be made to make up as many games as possible during the season on the night you regularly play.  This may result in some double headers.  If the need arises, Monday nights will be used to make up games.
8. Softballs:  $6 each or a dozen for $60.

Game Rules

1. ASA rules will be followed with the exceptions listed below. ASA Rules Online.
2. All game balls must be marked "MSP-44" for men's slow pitch play.  Women will use the 11" "GWSP-47" or "GWSP-44" ball.
3. Players must be 18 years of age or have a signed parental consent to play.
4. Men's play open to all.
5. Men can start play with 7 players.  Coed can start play with 8 players.
6. Team may bat up to 12 players and field 10 players.  If a player becomes unable to play and no substitute is available, that place in the batting order will be considered an out.
7. Field injuries will be handed as if blood were present.  (Umpire discretion)
8. Each batter starts with a 1 & 1 count and when there is a foul ball on the 3rd strike, he is allowed a courtesy foul.
9. No base stealing will be allowed.
10. Home run limit:  Men's C and D 4/out; Men's E 2/out; Coed  - Men get 4/out and women unlimited/out.
11. No metal spikes are allowed in the park.
12. Any team that forfeits a game, also forfeits any prize.
